Who is this course for
Delegates that are interested in learning more about what it means to be a sustainable organisation and what IT's role is, positively and negatively, in the journey.
Purpose of the course
To provide delegates with insight and understanding into sustainability and what it means to organisations in the IT and digital space. The course follows the prescribed syllabus leading to the examination 'ITIL4 Specialist: Sustainability in Digital and IT and attendance is a pre-requisite for taking the exam.
You will learn how to
- Use the ITIL guiding principles to deliver value by creating sustainable digitally enabled products and services
- Effectively address VUCA challenges through sustainable strategies, procurement, products and practices
- Obtain a practical grounding in the key principles of sustainability
- Conduct a full cost benefit analysis identifying potential risks and opportunities using best practice guidance
Prerequisites
There are no formal pre-requisites but a knowledge of IT service management may be useful.ITIL Foundation is NOT required to take this course and the subsequent examination.

ITIL4 Specialist: Sustainability in Digital and IT
Coursework requirement: 4 assignments undertaken during the course. Pass mark must be reached before the qualification can be awarded.
Exam requirement: 60 Minute Multiple-Choice, 35 questions. Pass mark is 23/35 or approx. 65%. Exams are online-only, to be taken after the course has been completed.
Regardless of if your training is face to face or virtual PeopleCert exams are available exclusively online.

This course is eligible for the PeopleCert Take2 scheme, please discuss at point of booking if this is of interest to you.

Reading proscribed elements of the 'ITIL4: Sustainability publication' to enable delegates to have a degree of readiness and familiarity with the material prior to starting the course.
